End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June 2020 All students will create a creative and critical thinking e-portfolio and collect at least two artifacts and reflect on the creative and critical thinking process in each of their classes.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June 2020 all tier 2 and 3 students will show academic growth in reading by one performance level on the VDOE SOL Performance Levels and Growth in the Reading SOL, or show a 10 percent improvement in their Lexile level by as determined by the Reading Inventory.  

All tier 2 and 3 students will show academic growth by one performance level on the VDOE SOL Performance Levels and Growth in the Math SOL, or  show a 10 percent improvement in math skills as determined by the Math SMARTR assessment. 

Strategy 1

  • Identify students requiring reading and/or math support.

Strategy 2

  • All teachers will be knowledgeable of the identified students’ reading and math levels and understand the implications to their content areas.

Strategy 3

  • Implement strategies for students in yellow zone on the VDOE School Quality/Achievement Indicators.

By June 2020 every student will be able to identify at least one asset (caring adult) at Carson.
