Hello Panther Students & Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Nina Ghafori and I am the school counselor for the 7^th Grade Majestics, 8^th Grade Dolphins, and 8^th Grade Dream! This is my first year at Rachel Carson and I am so excited to join the RCMS community. This is the start of my 1^st year in FCPS as an employee however attended FCPS K-12 Grades! My undergraduate degree is in Childhood Studies from George Mason University and my master's degree in school counseling is also from George Mason University (Go Patriots!)

When I am not at school, I am busy with my dog (Bella), friends and family. I enjoy being outdoors, going to concerts, and traveling!

While I am new to school counseling this year- I have worked with children and students for the past 10 years in multiple settings. I am looking forward to a great year together! Go Panthers!!
